Biotech account manager buys Maplewood 2BD

Kurt Heidrich bought a two-bedroom, one-bath home at 7639 Rannells Ave. in Maplewood for $141,000 from Daniel S. Mosby and his wife, Kathy, on July 29.

Mosby and Peterson paid $72,000 for the property in Nov. 2003.

The 889-square-foot house was built in 1949.

Heidrich serves as regional account manager at Illumina, a developer, manufacturer and provider of integrated systems for the analysis of genetic variation and biological function. The company is headquartered in San Diego.

Heidrich previously served as a senior account manager for GE Healthcare and as account manager for Amersham Biosciences.

He received a B.A. in molecular biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.A. in molecular biology from Boston University.

Home sales in Maplewood are down 7.5 percent thus far in 2008. Median sales price also fell from $140,000 to $137,000 so far this year.
