Wash U profs buy 30s era University City 3BD

Katherine Wildman and her husband, Scott, bought a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 8055 Teasdale Ave. in University City for $425,000 from Korbin B. Tacony and his wife, Alissa, on July 15.
The Taconys paid $405,000 for the property in July 2005.
The 1,856-square-foot house was built in 1939.
Mrs. Wildman is an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Washington University.
Mr. Wildman also serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Wash U.
He previously spent seven years working in the pharmaceutical industry.
There have been 434 sales in
University City thus far in 2008. The median sales price is $142,078 so far this year.
