Joel Svoboda and his wife, Michelle, bought a five-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 150 S. Gore Ave. in Webster Groves' Mary Gore for $418,100 from Darrel Schmidt and his wife, Chastidy on July 9.

The Schmidts paid $182,000 for the property in June 2001.

The 2,313-square-foot house was built in 1909.

Mr. Svoboda is a realtor with REMAX Exclusive. He sells properties in the St. Louis area.

Mr. Schmidt is the owner of Dcal Business Solutions, a refurbisher/reseller and a de-manufacturing company based in St. Louis.

The Svobodas sold a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 19 Clayton Terrace in Frontenac for $705,000 on July 9.

There have been 208 sales in Webster Groves thus far in 2008. Median sales price is at $185,500 so far this year.
