Research director scores in Ladue

Thomas S. Margulis and his wife, Ashley, bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 46 Picardy Lane in Ladue from Warne and Lisa Block for $925,000 on Sept. 18.

The 3,175-square-foot house was built in 1949.

Margulis has been the director of research at the Asset Consulting Group, Inc., an investment consulting firm, where he manages the research group and all research conducted there.

He also has been a member of the ACG Investment Committee, which administers the internal processes to make investment recommendations.

He received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

There have been 146 home sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $742,000.
