Dr. Daniel Loiterstein and his wife, Laura, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 14230 Kinderhook Dr. in Chesterfield from Gregory D. Schneiderman and his wife, Julie, for $415,000 on Oct. 24.

The Schneidermans paid $414,000 for the property in July 2006.

The 2,547-square-foot house was built in 1978 and is located in the Green Trails Estates neighborhood.

Dr. Loiterstein is a physician of internal medicine and psychiatry and a staff member at Cavanaugh and Associates, a practice devoted to civil and criminal forensic psychiatry and psychology. The company consults in several states, including Missouri, Chicago and Illinois, among others.

He received his M.D. from the University of Missouri and has completed his residencies in internal medicine and psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, where he serves as assistant professor. He also completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of California Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric Institute.

Mr. Schneiderman is vice president of research at Asset Consulting Group, Inc., a full service investment consulting firm based in St. Louis.

He has over seven years of experience working with various alternative investment strategies. He joined ACG as VP of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investments Partners' fund. Prior to that, he was an investment analyst with A.G. Edwards Capital. Earlier, he was an investment banking analyst with A.G. Edwards & Sons.

Mr. Schneiderman graduated from Washington University with a B.S.B.A. in accounting and finance.

There have been 600 sales in Chesterfield in 2008 with a median price of $330,000.
