John M. Horseman and Susan M. Horseman sold their four-bedroom, 4.5-bath house at 16519 Kingspointe Lake Lane in Clarkson Valley for $900,000 to Jeanne Pearson Kemp on Oct. 8.

The Horsemans paid $742,500 for the home in July 2000.

The two-story, 4,556-square-foot home, built in 1990, was listed for as much as $1.149 million.

Mr. Horseman runs JM Horseman Group, a private financial planning firm with offices in St. Louis and Fulton. He is a former stockbroker and real estate agent and received his bachelor's from Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio.

There have been 40 sales in Clarkson Valley in 2008 for a median price of $619,000.
