John C. Hull and his wife, Jeane, sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 542 Overlook Terrace Court in Eureka's The Legends for $590,000 to Steven L. James and his wife, Margaret, on Oct. 23.
The Hulls paid $700,000 for the property in June 2007.
The 6,060-square-foot house was built in 1991.
Mr. Hull is a director of sales in the coal sales subsidiary of Peabody Energy, a private-sector coal company based in St. Louis. He was appointed the position on Aug. 29.
Prior to joining Peabody Energy in May 2007, he has held numerous positions in sales and marketing, business development, operations, engineering and financial management areas with companies such as Rio Tinto America and Kennecott Utah Copper.
Mrs. Hull also works with Peabody Energy as a group executive for the company's operations in Powder River Basin.
She joined the company in May 2007 as senior VP of engineering and technical services.
Mrs. Hull previously served as a manager of a U.S. coal mine and as COO of Kennecott Utah Copper.
There have been 177 sales in Eureka in 2008, with a median price of $224,900.
