Monsanto exec spends $1.42M

Nicole M. Ringenberg and her husband, David, bought a five-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 430 Oakwood Ave. in Webster Groves for $1.42 million from David and Sandra Gantt on Sept. 12.

The Gantts paid $735,000 for the property in Feb. 2001.

Mrs. Ringenberg is a vice president of finance, operation and global commercial at Monsanto.

She was previously the international finance lead (2003-2004) and as Asia Pacific business lead from 2004-2006.

She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan and received her master's in international business from the University of South Carolina.

There have been 383 sales in Webster Groves in 2008 with a median price of $200,000.
