Relations officer sells in University City

Darin R. Cline and his wife, Mary, sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 7932 Gannon Ave. in University City's West University to Lawrence E. Casey and his wife, Susan, for $434,500 on Oct. 8.

The Clines paid $380,000 for the property in July 2006.

The 2,160-square-foot house was built in 1936.

Mr. Cline is a director of intergovernmental relations at the office of St. Louis County.

Mr. Cline has been involved in politics as general consultant for County Executive Charlie Dooley's campaign in St. Louis and as finance director for Don Siegelman's campaign as governor of Alabama.

Mr. Cline has also been a partner at Cunningham, Harris, Cline & Associates.

Mr. Cline has attended The Pingry School and Emory University.

There have been 659 sales in University City in 2008 with a median price of $149,000.
