Janeal M. Grosinger and her husband, Craig, sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 1096 Bristol Manor Dr. in Ballwin to Peng Wang for $635,000 on Oct. 15.
The Grosingers paid $635,000 for the property in Sept. 2003. The 3,839-square-foot home in the Manors of Town subdivision was built in 1991.
Mrs. Grosinger is the founder of Jaicee Designs, Inc., an arts and crafts center which offers classes in sewing, jewelry making, scrapbook creation and ceramics. She also practiced as a dentist for more than 12 years before she decided to quit and offer crafts classes in her home.
She expanded the home business by offering after-class sewing programs in schools and community centers. Currently, she manages the facility which was built and designed by her husband.
Mr. Grosinger is an architect and the vice president at Jaicee Designs, Inc. Prior to that, he was the vice president of store design at Panera Bread and the design manager at Starbucks Coffee Co.
He earned his bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University.
There have been 49 home sales in Ballwin in 2008, with a median sales price of $207,500.
