James M. Shear sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 8611 Grantwood Trails Court in Crestwood to Paul H. Young for $450,000 on Nov. 12.

The 3,102-square-foot house, which was built in 1995, is in Grantwood Trails.

Dr. Shear is an anesthesiologist in St. Louis. He is affiliated with the department of otolaryngology at the Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Shear earned his degree from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine in 1981. He finished his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

There have been 161 sales in Crestwood in 2008 with median sales price of $176,750.
