Joy L. Holley and her husband, Jon, bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 586 Gederson Lane in Warson Woods from Edward A. O'Donnell, III, and his wife, Amy, for $395,000 on Nov. 25.

The O'Donnells paid $299,000 for the property in May 2001.

The 2,997-square-foot house was built in 1961.

Mrs. Holley is a counsel with Bryan Cave, LLP, and a member of the firm's commerical litigation and product liability client service group, focusing on product liability, class action and complex civil litigation.

Prior to joining Bryan Cave, she served as an assistant circuit attorney for the City of St. Louis. She has also worked as a law clerk for Judge Ann K. Covington of the Missouri Supreme Court.

Mrs. Holley received her B.S. from the University of Missouri and her J.D. from St. Louis University.

There have been 41 sales in Warson Woods thus far in 2008, with a median sales price of $313,000.
