Bankruptcy lawyer buys Kirkwood 4BD

David M. Dare and his wife, Theresa, bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 747 Dougherty Place in Kirkwood from Stephen C. Clark and Julie Trapp-Clark for $420,000 on Dec. 9.

The Clarks paid $440,000 for the property in Feb. 2007. The 3,615-square-foot house was built in 1976.

Mr. Dare is a partner at Herren, Dare & Streett in St. Louis, where he practices bankruptcy law.

He earned his law degree at Vanderbilt University.

Mrs. Clark is a retail professional, who has works for Macy's Midwest as a buyer. She previously worked for May Department Stores as a product manager and for JC Penney as senior merchandise manager.

She earned her B.S. in textile and apparel management at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996.

There have been 483 sales in Kirkwood in 2008 with median sales price of $196,500.
