The 5,926-square-foot home was built in 2007.

Steward is a board member with the St. Louis Art Museum, Sheldon Arts Foundation, Care & Counseling and Girls, Inc. She began her career as registered nurse at Homer G. Phillips Hospital.

She graduated from St. Louis Municipal School of Nursing.
