Darren T. Bevard and Debra J. Bevard bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1749 Janet Place in Kirkwood from Hewitt Association, LLC, for $356,000 on Jan. 9.

Hewitt Association, LLC, paid $410,000 for the property in Sept. 2008. The 2,470-square-foot house was built in 2003.

Mr. Bevard has been an aquatics manager at Larkin Group, Inc. Previously, he was a project designer at Larkin Group and prior to that he was a team member at Counsilman-Hunsaker Universities.

He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Memphis.

Mrs. Bevard is an account manager at Color Art Integrated Interiors. Previously, she has worked in sales at Cerner Corp., and as a designer at Memphis Business Interiors.

She graduated from the University of Mississippi.

There were 482 sales in Kirkwood in 2008, with a median sales price of $196,750.
