Kevin and Cindy Birkner sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 439 Highland Meadows Place in Wentzville to Jeffrey and Melanie Durbin for $260,000 on Sept. 15.

The Birkners paid $75,700 for the property in Dec. 2004. The 2,682-square-foot house in the Victorias Ridge subdivision was built in 2006.

Mr. Birkner is the vice president of master data management at Vi-Jon Laboratories, a health and beauty care company. Previously, he held various executive positions at Vi-Jon.

He attended St. Louis University and Southeast Missouri State University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 518 sales in Wentzville during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $176,000.
