Drug manufacturer lived here, member of the Pulitzer family owns this house

Alben Mellier was a drug manufacturer in 1912 when he owned this house. He was a co-founder of the Mellier Drug Co. in 1887. The company was a manufacturer of proprietary medicines. Emily Rauh Pulitzer is the current owner. She is the second wife of Joseph Pulitzer III, scion of the famed newspaper family. In 2008 she gave a gift of 31 major works of modern and contemporary art and $45 million to the Harvard Art Museum.
