Emerson Electric co-founder owned this house

Charles Meston was first vice president of the Emerson Electric Manufacturing Co. in 1912 when he owned this house. Meston and his brother, with the financial backing of John Wesley Emerson established the Emerson Electric Manufacturing Co. in 1890. They manufactured reliable electric motors. Over the past 100 years Emerson Electric has gone from doing $60,000 in total sales in 1892 to doing $17.1 billion in total sales in 2005.
