"Rescue Me" singer owns this house

Soul singer Fontella Bass owns this house. She is best known for her 1965 #1 hit "Rescue Me." The song was the first million seller for famed Chess Records since Chuck Berry years before. She was married for years to noted jazz trumpeter Lester Bowie who passed away in 1999.
