Diamondbacks pitcher grew up in this house

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Max Scherzer grew up in this house. He was the eleventh player picked in the 2006 MLB draft. Scherzer pitched 4 1/3 perfect innings in his major league debut against the Houston Astros setting the MLB record for consecutive batters retired (13) for a pitcher making his debut as a reliever. He graduated from Parkway Central High School.
