Symphony horn player and conductor owned this house

Edward Murphy owned this house from 1960 to 1978. He was an assistant conductor and horn player for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Murphy was the first to conduct Berg's Three Pieces for Orchestra with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
