Actress Virginia Mayo grew up in this house according to the 1930 U.S. census. She made almost 50 films and was one of the most successful actresses of the 40s and 50s. Mayo's memorable films include 1946's "The Best Years of our Lives" and 1949's "White Heat." She passed away in 2005.
