Architect who owned this house was the dean of modernists in St. Louis

Architect Harris Armstrong owned this house in 1967. He was the foremost modernist working in St. Louis. Armstrong's designs include, The Ethical Society Building (Clayton Rd.), the Shanley Building, and the "Magic Chef" building. He passed away in 1973.
