Temple Israel rabbi for more than 30 years owned this house

Rabbi, Ferdinand Isserman, owned this house when he passed away in 1972. He became rabbi of Temple Israel in 1929. The congregation has more than 1,500 member families and was founded in 1886. Isserman served Temple Israel for more than 30 years, retiring in 1963. He also conducted weekly Jewish programs on local radio stations from 1932 to 1963.
