Blues center Boyes pays $715K in Des Peres

St. Louis Blues center Brad Boyes bought a four-bedroom, 4.5 bath at 11711 Fawnridge Dr. in Des Peres for $715,000 from Thomas and Rachelle Shipley on Sept. 28.

The Shipleys paid $714,880 for the home in June 2005.

Raye Zeigler of Janet McAfee Inc. real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $829,000 when it appeared on the market in May.

The 25 year-old Boyes is in his first full season with the Blues after he was acquired in a trade with the Boston Bruins on Feb. 27. He played 19 games with the Blues after he was traded in the 2006-07 season, tallying four goals and eight assists with the team.

He has scored nine goals and added three assists in 15 games this season (as of Nov. 15).

Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs as the 24th overall pick in the 2000 NHL Draft, the Ontario, Canada native didn't make his league debut until 2003, when he played one game for the San Jose Sharks.
